Year 9 Applied Learning Camp 2025
May 15, 2025From the 5th to the 7th of March 2025, Year 12 students embarked on an unforgettable journey at the picturesque Deuba Campsite in Pacific Harbour. With perfect weather, the campsite was an ideal backdrop for a series of adventurous and team-building activities.
The camp kicked off with a flurry of team-building exercises aimed at fostering camaraderie and cooperation among the students. As they navigated through challenges together, bonds were forged that would last beyond the campfire nights and the camp.
The highlight of the second day was an exhilarating river tubing adventure down the Navua River. Amidst the lush greenery and chilling waters, students soaked in the thrill of the rapids, making memories that will surely be recounted for years to come.
On the final day, the energy remained high, with a half-day of fun games and more team-building activities. Laughter echoed across the campsite as students engaged in friendly competitions, showcasing their newfound skills.
Overall, feedback from the students was very positive. Many expressed gratitude for the opportunity to explore nature’s beauty while honing their interpersonal skills.
